Meghan P. Browne is a native Austinite living in her hometown with her husband, Greg, and their three children. Random House Studio will publish her debut picture book, INDELIBLE ANN. The book portrays the life of the late governor of Texas, Ann Richards, who was inspired by Eleanor Roosevelt and was in turn the inspiration for Hillary Rodham Clinton and many other women in politics today. Meghan has a BA in Political Science from the University of Arizona where she was a varsity letterwoman in swimming, a four-time Foundations Scholar, and a graduate of the Honors College. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Meghan is an avid beekeeper and student of land stewardship.
